BROWN, K Robert (Bob) (Age 77) Bob, son of Kenneth and Catherine Brown, was born in Aberdeen on March 23, 1932. He passed away January 22, 2010 at home in Rathdrum, Idaho. Growing up in Walla Walla, Washington, Bob graduated from WaHi high school in 1950. First year letterman on the ski team and member of Lambda Kai fraternity, he graduated from WSU with a BA in Business. He was an active alumni and a die hard Cougar. His first eight years out of college. Bob worked for Shell Oil Company. Afterward he was active in real-estate and mortgage companies in the Seattle area. Later Bob started and owned Olympic Coast Mortgage Company which sold in 1995- He was a life time member of the Lynnwood, Washington Elks. Retirement was filled with bird watching, fly-fishing, golf, and drives to enjoy the beautiful scenery. He is survived by his wife, Lori, of twenty-six years; brother Jack Brown of Eugene, Oregon, daughters, Susan, Jenny and Melissa; son Greg; step-daughter, Rene'; step-son, Brett; nine grandchildren and one great grand child. He left behind many new and life long friends. Bob loved and enjoyed life and released a lot of fish for the next generation. A celebration of life will be scheduled in May at Twin Lakes Village Club House in Idaho. In Lieu of flowers family request memorials to Hospice of North Idaho 9493 N. Government Way Hayden Idaho 83835. Yates Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
